We have had a few people concerned as to why Tyrese is in the hospital, and why he was born pre-mature, so we thought we would clear some things up in case you were wondering.

Tyrese's birth mom, Lateefah, was not using drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes during her pregnancy with Tyrese. She is a very strong woman who has been raised in very negative circumstances, but she has been able to raise to the top in many aspects of her life. We are blessed to know her and to have had the opportunity of getting to know her other children.

Now as for "why" Tyrese was born at 35 weeks, we will probably never know, but there are some speculations. Lateefah did have an infection a few months back that she was treated for and the infection went away, but that type of infection has been known to start pre-term labor. Or, they think that Tyrese had somehow had a small form of pneumonia in his lungs, causing the birth to happen earlier than planned, and causing the respiratory issues he has been through for the past few weeks.

Regardless of what it was that caused this to happen, Tyrese is pulling through it all and we have been informed that what he has been through is not something that will be long-term, nor will it have long-term effects on him. So for that we are extremely blessed!
